About Us
Revett started with a simple frustration: golf sunglasses built for everywhere, which meant they weren't built for anywhere in particular.
Most eyewear is general-purpose by design. It dims everything equally and calls that a job well done — fine for a beach chair or a drive home. But a golf course asks something specific. You're reading a green, tracking a ball against a wall of grass, judging distance while the light shifts on you between the front nine and the back. Untuned lenses don't give you any of that. They just make it darker.
So we build for the course instead of for everywhere.
Every pair we make is photochromic — the tint adjusts on its own from full sun to overcast, so you're not swapping pairs at the turn or riding out a cloudy stretch through a lens that's suddenly too dark. Every pair is UV400. And every tint we release gets chosen for what it actually does on a course, not because it looked right in a catalog.
That's the whole company: sunglasses that don't just protect your eyes, but help you play.
We also don't think you should have to choose between quality and price. Lens technology like this usually shows up on frames costing two or three times what we charge. We cut the markup, not the engineering — a durable frame, real photochromic lenses, and a fair price, full stop.
